Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which Acquiral may issue refunds for services. Because our work involves significant research, analyst time, and proprietary methodology, refunds are granted in limited circumstances as described below.
1. Nature of Our Services
Acquiral delivers custom intelligence services — each engagement involves significant analyst time, research, and methodology application from the moment work commences. As such, our refund policy reflects the professional services nature of our work, similar to legal, consulting, or research firms.
2. Pre-Commencement Cancellations
If you cancel an engagement before any work has commenced (typically within 48 hours of payment and before analyst assignment), you are entitled to a full refund of any fees paid. Cancellation must be communicated in writing to billing@acquiral.io.
3. Mid-Engagement Cancellations
If you cancel an engagement after work has commenced, you will be charged for the work completed up to the point of cancellation, calculated on a proportional basis. The remaining amount, if any, will be refunded within 10 business days.
The assessment of work completed will be made in good faith by our team and communicated to you in writing.
4. Unsatisfactory Deliverables
We take quality seriously. If you believe a delivered report is materially deficient or does not address the agreed-upon scope, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery. We will:
- Review your concern in good faith
- Offer to revise or supplement the deliverable as appropriate
- Issue a partial or full refund if the deficiency is validated
Disagreement with intelligence findings or recommendations does not constitute grounds for a refund. Our reports represent independent research-based analysis, not guaranteed outcomes.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Completed and delivered intelligence reports
- Analyst briefing sessions that have taken place
- Cancellations requested more than 7 days after report delivery
- Dissatisfaction with market findings (market reality, not report quality)
- Change of mind after significant work has been performed
6. Enterprise Engagements
Refund terms for Enterprise Advisory engagements are specified in the individual engagement agreement, which takes precedence over this general policy.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email billing@acquiral.io with your name, engagement details, and reason for the request. We will respond within 5 business days.
8. Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
